The deadline date for consideration of a 2010 Academic Scholarship has passed– it was May 1st. Only applications that were completed and submitted will be evaluated. If you completed and submitted an online application then you received a confirmation email. Winners will be announced in mid July. Applications completed and submitted between May 2 and December 31 will not be reviewed. Applications for the 2011 academic year (fall 2011/spring 2012) will be accepted January 1 – May 1, 2011.

Professional Development Scholarships are open to AH&LA-member full-time hotel employees seeking to take distance learning through the AH&LA's Educational Institute (EI) or apply for a professional certification. Note that applicants must complete the scholarship application and EI’s certification application or distance learning enrollment form in order to be considered for a scholarship. Applications are accepted throughout the year and reviewed quarterly – January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1.
