Research 

The Foundation provides resources for research projects that ensure continued growth and opportunities for the industry and employees, which in turn benefit our guests.  This section covers past and present projects, and allows you to apply for a grant as well.

Since 1995, the Foundation has distributed more than $2.5 million toward grants to benefit the lodging industry.  This year, the Foundation's annual budget for its research and project funding program is $254,000, of which $40,000 is specifically earmarked for technology research.  Unsolicited applications are accepted twice a year March 1 and September 1 — from individuals or organizations wishing to conduct research in the lodging industry.
