Since 2003 more than $2.5 million has been expended through workforce development and school-to-career initiatives, which encourage career interest in the lodging field.
The new high school curriculum, Hospitality and Tourism Management Program (HTMP), developed with a myriad of industry experts, will take the place of the Lodging Management Program (LMP) as the official industry recognized curriculum to prepare junior and senior high school students for roles in the lodging industry.
