The PepsiCo Foundation made a $250,000 contribution to the Foundation's New Century Fund Campaign, creating the Pepsi Scholarship Fund to benefit graduating seniors from the Hospitality High School in Washington, D.C. This endowed gift provides perpetual scholarships to graduates of the Hospitality High School who are enrolled in undergrad hospitality-related degree programs.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum eligibility criteria for nominees are:
- Graduate of the Hospitality High School in Washington, D.C.
- Enrolled in at least 12 credit hours for upcoming fall and spring semesters.
- Worked at least 250 hours in the hotel/hospitality industry.
- Have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Scholarship Awards
Award amounts can range from $500 to $3,000 depending upon enrollment and recommended amount from school.
Application Process
Pepsi Scholarships are School Nominated which means students are nominated by the Hospitality High School in Washington, D.C. The Hospitality High School seniors and graduates should check with their principal's office to be considered for these scholarships. All student nominees must complete all sections of the AH&LEF Scholarship Application. Additionally, under separate cover, the Hospitality High School is required to send a transmittal form confirming its nominees and suggested award amounts. AH&LEF will not consider applicants without nomination verification from Marriott High School.
